The chapters of the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation play an invaluable role in supporting VBCF’s mission to educate and advocate for the eradication of breast cancer.
The Central Virginia Chapter has been active in spreading awareness about breast cancer and in educating their community on the facts about breast cancer since 1999. While they participate in a wide range of activities, the following are some examples of the Central Virginia Chapter’s efforts:
- Library Book Drive
- Jazzercise Dance for the Cause
- Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Dinner
- HHH Cookie Walk
- Speakers Bureau Presentations
- Pink Ribbon Campaign
- State & National Lobby Days
