Fund Development Manager
This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the breast cancer community while working with a small, dedicated team. VBCF is seeking a full-time Fund Development Manager to plan and execute mission-focused fundraising activities to diversify and increase revenue. The position reports to the Executive Director. The anticipated hiring range is $45,000-55,000.

Responsibilities include:
- Share VBCF’s mission and services with interested groups.
- Implement best practices for donor development, cultivation, acquisition, acknowledgment, recognition, and retention.
- Assist in the development, planning, and execution of our signature fundraising event/s.
- Manage and retain existing and identify and recruit new community-based fundraisers.
- Manage online fundraising software platforms (DonorPerfect and QGiv) to track donors and donations, including oversight of data entry and processing acknowledgments, reconciliation, reporting, and analysis to ensure fundraising goals are met.
- Gather and draft compelling, mission-focused content across various channels, including social media, blog posts, monthly email newsletters, biennial print newsletters, press releases, etc.
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.

- Health & Dental Insurance – 100% of employee cost covered; family coverage paid by employee.
- 12 days of paid holiday leave for FTEs, part-time prorated.
- 15 days of paid vacation leave for FTEs, increases with years of service to max of 20 days; part-time prorated.
- 12 days of paid personal use time for FTEs.
- Annual Bonuses – Bonuses are based on VBCF’s annual financial position and are offered dependent on employee performance. The Board may, at its discretion, cancel the bonus plan at any time for any reason. Since 2019, bonuses have ranged from 3-8% of an employee’s salary.
- VBCF-paid policy for Short and Long-Term Disability, Life, and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance.
- Cell phone stipend ($40/month FTE, part-time prorated).
- Optional Retirement – VBCF matches pre-tax contributions to a simple IRA up to 3% of an employee’s annual income.
