Male

Men can develop breast cancer too, though it is much more common in women. In fact, only about 1% of all breast cancer cases occur in men and there isn’t Virginia specific information available because the diagnosis is so rare it would affect patient privacy. However, that doesn’t make a breast cancer diagnosis any less difficult for you and your family. Thankfully, there are some national resources available for men with breast cancer and their families, including online support groups.
