In your journey through breast cancer treatment and care, Patient Navigators can be invaluable. They’ll guide you through the healthcare system, helping you understand complex medical terms, coordinate appointments, access support services, and receive emotional guidance. Depending on your treatment center, this role may be filled by a Nurse Navigator, Social Worker, or another trained professional.
How Navigators Support You:

Translating medical information — breaking down medical jargon into understandable terms.
-
Coordinating care — managing your appointments and treatment schedule.
-
Connecting to resources — linking you with support groups, financial help, and more.
-
Emotional support — giving you empathetic guidance and a listening ear.
